Wiz Khalifa drop the visuals for his song On My Level featuring Too Short. This video came as a surprise to many due to the fact that he announced Roll Up to be the next single for Rolling Papers which is out March 29th. Roll Up was also released on the net and you can download both below. I’d say On My Level is for the fellas and Roll Up is a track for the ladies.

Theophilus London  - Why Even Try (feat. Sara Quin)

New Music from Theophilus London himself via twitter last night! The Track is called Why Even Try and features vocals from Sara Quin of indie rock band Tegan and Sara. The track comes off of Theophilus‘ upcoming EP Lovers Holiday and the cover art is posted above. Lovers Holiday will be released on February 8th just in time for Valentines Day.

Jade Alston is a 23 year old singer/songwriter/guitarist from Philly. She is definitely some one to keep an eye on because she is on the verge of something  big. Her voice is unique and nobody in the game right now has a voice like hers. She recently launched her site JadeAlston.com and started her #Shemixxx series in which she tackles songs like Runaway by Kanye West, Up by Wiz Khalifa and Fall For Your Type by Jamie Foxx which is the video posted above. Saw this vid over at The Hip Hop Update thought the song was dope so decided to post it! It comes from Jared Evan and the track is off his upcoming mixtape Back & Fourth which will be released late February with productions from Illmind and Statik Selektah. I would describe this track as a Rock/Rap/R&B mix. Dope

Mr. Khalifa took to twitter last night to announce the the title and release date of his debut album. To keep up with his “no blunts” image the album will be called Rolling Papers and will be released through Atlantic Records on March 29th. With the Steelers going to the Super Bowl and Black & Yellow reaching number 1 on the Billboard Rap Songs and number 5 on Billboard Top 100, Rolling Papers is highly anticipated throughout the nation. You can expect features from Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Too $hort & Curren$y. His second single Roll Up will be released in the coming weeks.

Some of you watching this video is saying “Hey she looks familiar”. Well yes your right thats Andrea Lewis, 1/2 of ThoseGirlsAreWild.com and she used to play Hazel on a little hit tv show called Degrassi. While not blogging or acting Andrea spends her time on her budding music career. She dropped the free album 5-4-3-2-1 in october and this video ties a couple of the songs together into a story.
