2009 was actually a great year for music. So here are the top albums and mixtapes of 2009. Not in any particular order.

Starting off with what I think is the most groundbreaking mixtape ever So Far Gone by Drake. first mixtape to generate Grammy nominations. Enough said.

Im very much anticipating this CD even though i know its not gonna be the same Thicke (pause) i have a feeling its gonna be a lot better than Something Else which was sorta a let down. Some leaked tracks have features like Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dogg.

First time i heard Shots was at a white people club over the summer and they just went crazy wen this LMFAO track came on and they handed out free shots all over the place. Big ups to LMFAO for trying to resurrect Lil’ Jon’s career. Do you think this will bring Lil’ Jon and the crunk music back??
